Responsible play
Favorites is designed to be the low-stakes way to enjoy the prediction side of sports: virtual credits, no deposits, no withdrawals, no prizes. Even so, any game built around prediction and reward can become a habit worth keeping an eye on. This page is our straightforward guidance on keeping play healthy.
The most important fact
Favorites uses virtual credits only. Credits have no cash value, cannot be withdrawn, cannot be redeemed for prizes, and are used only for gameplay inside the app. You can never lose money on Favorites, because money is never involved.
Treat it as entertainment
Favorites is a game about reading sports well. It is not a way to make money — there is no money in it at all — and it should stay in the same category as any other hobby.
Take breaks
Live games make it easy to keep watching and picking for hours. Step away between games, and don't let sessions crowd out sleep, work or time with people.
Watch for compulsive patterns
If you notice yourself playing longer than you intended, feeling restless when you're not playing, or chasing losses even with virtual credits, those are signals worth taking seriously — even in a free-to-play product.
Keep perspective on streaks
Winning and losing streaks are normal in any prediction game. A hot streak doesn't make you infallible, and a cold one doesn't mean you need to win it back — especially since credits can always be re-earned for free.
It's okay to stop
If Favorites stops being fun, stop playing. Your balance has no cash value, so walking away costs you nothing.
If gambling is a concern elsewhere
Favorites is not a gambling product and does not offer real-money wagering. But if you or someone you know struggles with gambling on other platforms, support is available. In the United States, the National Problem Gambling Helpline is available 24/7 at 1-800-GAMBLER (call or text), with chat and resources at ncpgambling.org.
If you feel that even free-to-play prediction games are feeding an unhealthy pattern, consider taking a break from the category entirely — and talk to a professional or a helpline about it.
